Dr. Eshansh Arora grew up in New York. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Chemistry, and minored in Education at Brooklyn College with honors. He then continued his higher education at prestigious New York University College of Dentistry where he received his Doctorate in Dental Surgery in 2001. At NYU, he was inducted into the prestigious Omicron Kappa Upsilon Society, which is composed of top 5 % of graduating class.
Subsequently, he went into a four year Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery residency at Westchester Medical center in Valhalla, NY. Dr. Arora Graduated in 2005 & has been in private practice since then. He is a clinical attending at Lincoln Hospital in New York. He is also a professor at NYU. Dr. Arora is a diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and National Board of Anesthesiology. In addition he is a member of the American Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons, American Dental Society of Anesthesiology and New Jersey State Society of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery.
He practices all aspects of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery. At Lincoln Medical Center; he clinical instructs residents in facial trauma surgery involving complex facial lacerations to complete facial fractures. He performs bone grafts from hip, jaws to reconstruct the oral cavity to function in pathologic cases to improve jaw function. Currently he has restored multiple patients’ dental function & esthetics with dental implants which provide ideal permanent tooth replacements.
Recently, Dr. Arora has removed the world’s first cheek odontogenic choriostoma which was an abnormal tooth and jaw pathology in a child. He also restored a child’s eye movement who was playing basketball & suffered inability to move his eye upward due to trapped muscles in a facial facture. He enjoys performing the complete facets of oral & maxillofacial surgery with special interest in dental rehabilitation with use of dental implants and latest bone grafting techniques.
